GSFC U11 Jags faced Guildford City in an end to end thrilling Cup Final at Staines Lammas ground on Sunday 7th May 2017.  City took an early lead in the 1st half then consolidated that lead with a 2nd goal.  Saints nervous from the start picked themselves up and started a come back.  A number of chances and near misses gave Saints hope to keep on fighting and were eventually rewarded with a screamer of a goal from Joe Taylor.  City also had chances in the 2nd half but were kept out by some fantastic goal keeping from Freddie Newman.  A frantic last 10 minutes of the game whizzed by but Saints were unable to capitalise on the chances they made.  Final score 2-1 City.  A great team performance and a very exciting game to watch, well done to our U11 Jaguars and Manager Jason Peace.
