GSFC Technical Performance Centre Update
GSFC is aiming to provide an additional opportunity for players to develop their game through introducing our own academy programme. It is not just for the ‘most gifted’ players it’s available to everyone with the desire and determination to improve. GSFC believes that every individual should have the opportunity to fulfill their potential through creating an appropriate learning environment. George Abbot school is proposing to build a 61m x 40m (training-sized) astro pitch
which the school desperately needs to be able to offer both curriculum sport, as the
existing playing fields and tarmac courts become waterlogged, and after school sport as
the pitch will be floodlit. Currently after school sport has to stop during the dark winter
months.
