Club Information

The club ethos is to provide football for all ages and levels of ability and to ensure that member children enjoy their training and matches and play for fun at all times. The club believes that football should always be played with consideration for others and not with the view to win at all costs.

The Club has gone from strength to strength in the last few years, gaining Charter Standard Development Status from Surrey FA and being voted ‘Charter Standard Development Club’ of the season for the past 3 seasons. This season the Club has also attained an Active Surrey Bronze Award and came Runner Up Sports Club of the Year in the Surrey Sports Award event. Our Committee members have worked very hard for these achievements and strive to ensure we offer the best possible environment for its members.

This season 09/10 will see the Club working towards achieving Charter Community Status, in order to achieve this we are working with Surrey FA to introduce Disability Football within the Club and the Guildford Area.  Funds have been applied for to help us with this project and meetings will take place shortly with specialist schools so that we may introduce Guildford Saints to their pupils. It is intend that this new team be registered with the Pan Disability League and will play regular matches against other disability teams.

If you wish to help the club in any way, either by giving up some of your time to help with training, managing or administration, or through sponsorship or other funding, please  contact one of the club committee members.

Always very grateful for sponsors we would like to say THANK YOU to Haart Estate Agency, Burpham for sponsoring our U8 boys team kit and to Cargill Cares who are sponsoring team kit for our U7 boys.

A big plus for the Club are the School-Club Links, we currently have partnerships with St. Peter’s School, Merrow, George Abbot School, Burpham, Boxgrove School, Merrow and St. Thomas’s School, Merrow.  A close relationship with the Schools Sports Co-Ordinator, Andrew Morrison ensures these links are maintained.

New players are always welcome to the Club, first point of contact: Team Managers (see contact list), training times and venues:-
